Community Architecture
The architecture of Carillon Beach celebrates the vernacular, or local tradition of building by the sea. This architecture for the village is created by the Carillon Beach Design Code. The Code is administered by the Design Review Board and controls building materials, building heights, porches, out-buildings and garden structures, setbacks, etc. as well as all aesthetic architectural considerations for the village.
The Gatehouse
24 hour personnel not only watch over the village, but also provide a friendly smile and some traveler's advice when needed.
Bellview Park
Located at the West end of the Promenade, Bellview Park provides for family activities with a children's pool and playground, basketball courts, tennis courts, oversized swimming pool, pool house, and pavillions.
The Promenade
Connecting and providing an East-West axis between the Meeting House and Bellview Park, the Promenade is a spacious pedestrian "avenue" for strolling. It also connects with a footpath system which provides a more intimate perspective of the village.
Carillon Beach Parks
A system of parks interspersed throughout the villages offers havens for relaxing, swimming, perfecting a tennis stroke, or reading. Park amenities include 3 swimming pools, 2 tennis courts, and a deluxe children's playground.
Beach Pavillions
Beach Pavillions act as front porches on the beach for everyone in the village, while visually contributing a sense of place for the neighborhoods.
Carillon Bell Tower
Located on Carillon Circle, one of the highest points in the village, the 35 bell carillon contributes what bell towers and carillons have given villages for centuries. The Carillon provides both a visual and a cultural focus for the village. The Carillon is owned by the Institute.
Beach Club
The Carillon Beach Club provides a place for gathering, swimming, or simply contemplating the sea from its lofty pavillions.
